I chose to make this piece about protecting the most vulnerable from Covid-19 because people need to think about protecting others just as much as themselves. Healthcare workers, the elderly, pregnant women, and those with compromised immune systems need everyone to be aware of how easily spreadable this virus is. Staying home is the easiest way to know that you are not contributing to the rising number of new cases. The vulnerable need to be protected, and it is everyone’s responsibility to make sure they are staying home to flatten the curve.
