Ceramic Sculpture 30"h x 24"d x 5"w It seems to me that the Earth knows more about resilience than humans do. With the worldwide quarantine, fish are back. Skies are clear. The title of this piece became a mantra for me: “The Woods Will Save Us All”. Trees are nourishment. Nature is a balm, self-healing and potent. With this new work, I want people to see that being human is to be grounded in the natural world. I want people to remember this connection, to feel the deep spiritually of this relationship and to bask in the joy of it. It just may be our way out.
