For this piece I got inspired by my job, I work in fashion and we always go to showrooms every year. The one showcased in the picture is the Chicago Collective. With everything going on, things have been put on hold and it's always a hopeful reminder that "this to shall pass", as long as we stay home, wash our hands and cover our mouth/nose. The image depicts a lonely Chicago, with very few cars and people (just like we're seeing in many places, like New York). I sketched what I saw the day I went to the Chicago Showrooms, with photographs I took of places, magazines, etc. It's mixed media (ink on paper and illustrator).
