This painting is also part of the small series “spatial disorientation” mentioned previously. I wanted to depict the feeling of being barely there by creating a glitch effect and a blank stare consisting of tv static. This piece was inspired by another one of my original pieces from 2018 titled “Static” depicting a girl in front of a television with static coming towards her while she is in a zombie like trance. I wanted to keep that same zombie like trance to accurately describe the feeling of nothingness and withering away into a sea of blackness.
