The poster is inspired by tribal African art and homesteads. Traditional African art serves the dual purpose of aesthetics and functionality. The stool is a symbol of home. The distance between the figures has been legnthened to symbolise social distancing. The word HOME also depicts distance in the space between the letters. Between the two figures are the words TOGETHER to remind us that we are connected by our collective effort. The figures were originaly rendered by tribal sculptors as male and female but I've decided to remove the genitals for to open up to identities beyond the binary and to make sure the poster can be used in any environment without risking obscenity.
