Together We Are Stronger platforms mutual aid and solidarity work that has blossomed throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, locally for the artist in Brooklyn, as well as nationally and globally. Members of our community have stepped in to offer assistance where they can, with food distribution and deliveries, mask makers, gardeners assisting in food self-determination, rent strikes, support to bailout and free incarcerated folks and financial support funds for the many in our communities who need assistance to survive. The plants surrounding are from my Brooklyn environment that offer solace and care: dandelions, mugwort, ivy and cleavers.
