Under the Same Flag
As this illness spreads across state lines, country borders and overseas, we are reminded that we are more the same than different. No matter the color of our flags or the color of our skin, we have been united through this experience. By helping and learning from each other, we will come out on the other side of this. As an immigrant living in the United States, I have been in constant contact with my family abroad in Spain and in Germany. The commonality of our experiences that emerged from our conversations inspired this piece. F. Bonilla @fbonillart
