This artwork is inspired by the Salvador Dali mask from the popular Netflix series Money Heist (La Casa de Papel). In the show the mask is used a symbol of unity and togetherness in the face of adversity. Here the Dali mask itself dons a medical mask - to protect itself and others from the Coronavirus and urges people to join the resistance or fight against the pandemic. The lettering reads “Unirse a la resistencia, quedarse en casa” or “join the resistance, stay home”.
