Untitled
Due to the traveling restrictions I am unable to use my regular studio, and have no access to familiar materials such as fabric, string, and acrylic paint. Because of this I am at home, and religiously applying watercolor and marker to ink jet photo paper. Though the imagery might not represent the COVID-19 pandemic right away, the paintings are made from the intimate space of my bedroom. I’m using this time to slow down, and react to the unfamiliar qualities of a surface, and thistles of a brush.
