My entry utilizes the campaign “Vaccines for All.” I believe in the necessity of vaccines, and that every human being, globally, requires and deserves access to them. My piece expresses this belief through the representation of a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Each hand depicted in my piece has a variety of tonal values in an attempt to represent as many ethnic backgrounds as possible. The repetition of lines in the text represents a “ripple effect.” Each person vaccinated adds to the wave of safety the vaccine provides.
