Victory Garden Grow What You Eat

These images are in the spirit of the WWII-Victory-Gardens when citizens were called upon to grow their own food. My portraits are paired with slogans from the original Victory-Garden-movement with the addition of the important public-safety slogan 'stay home'. These images offer a contemporary spin on the WWII-Victory-Garden-Movement when people became motivated to plant gardens wherever possible and grow food for their family and community. I wish to bring to the streets a vision of hope and empowerment to grow food in response to rising food-insecurity during Covid-19. We need the return of the Victory-Garden-Movement, my work can help inspire-it!
