I created this image to resemble the empty hollowed out feeling when you lose something dear to you. The hole in her chest is hollowed out showing the stars of space to further emphasize the feeling of emptiness. The colors around her are cut out by the black oval of space to represent how you seemingly sink into a world of your own, with dark thoughts, leaving everything and everyone else in the reality of the colorful world we live in.
