I created this image because I wanted to do something relevant to how people are feeling today with everything going on. It seems like a cliche, but to me some of the best metaphors are born from cliche. To me, the lone figure in the alley carrying an umbrella represents us all collectively and the different trials we are facing. There also happened to be a huge thunderstorm happening when I was making this so that was a partial influence on this piece.
