This is a self portrait of my current state during Covid-19. I am 8 months pregnant and will be giving birth to my second child at home during the pandemic. When I heard that women will have to birth alone, without their partners and families, at hospitals I felt heart broken and called to submit art that may bring them, and all moms, hope, strength and inspiration. Photography of self and poppies were taken by me, and with the permission of my friend mamabotanica I used other flowers which she grows.
