The subject of this print is Tommye Austin, Senior Vice President and Chief Nurse Executive of University Health System in San Antonio, TX. Nurse Austin designed and developed her own mask that was shown to be more effective than the N95 mask. Healthcare workers deserve not only messages of support but also support in congress, state governments, and local governments. It is our responsibility to fight for procedures and policies that protect our essential workers.
