A long time ago there was no fresh drinking water. White Raven tricked his way into stealing a bentwood box that contained all of the drinking water. He drank all of the water inside the box. In the process of running away Raven was caught and burned in the soot of a fire. Raven kept strong and as he turned black he escaped through the smoke hole. Raven flew over the land and water droplets fell from his beak creating lakes, streams, and fresh drinking water for all of his grandchildren on earth. Today Raven is vaccinated & encouraging all to be vaccinated so that our people can stay protected and continue to share our stories.
