My piece is in pursuit of recognition and safety for the horrors that the people of Armenia have been put through. Adolf Hitler’s quote refers to the world's lack of response to the fate of Armenians during World War One as a justification for his slaughter of Jews throughout the Second World War. Turkey’s massacre of the Armenian people has been overlooked and brushed aside making Hitler’s point regrettably still valid.
