My dog and I are alone in the desert landscape. Nothing for miles except sage bush and some random pine trees. I am in pursuit of a moment of self-reflection. Of a clear mind. Of peace. We often get caught up in modern life, whether that's watching a new show or rushing to school. We never have a calm moment where we can stop and appreciate what we really have. Our well-beings are commonly overlooked in the decisions we make, conforming to what is cool and what isn’t. So being alone in the middle of nowhere, feeling lost -- is when you find yourself the most.
