For my American Flag remix, I was inspired to subvert and reclaim a Texas flag that originally featured the phrase "Come and Take It" with the image of a cannon and a star from the Texas Revolution. The phrase itself has its origins from 480 BCE. The Texan version of this flag was created in Gonzales, TX during the Texas Revolution.
