The artwork I submitted is one of my own photos from my mission trip in Sumpango Guatemala. Pictured are some girls playing a handshake game together, enjoying one another's company and giggles. In the photo I used the text “Create Community” because I am in pursuit of a diverse community. A community of different cultures may be speaking the same language, maybe not. A community that encourages and builds up each other. Unified together with the same hope for a loving community. In Guatemala, on my mission trips, you see the majority of the population living in poverty together doing everything they can to help one another within their community. Let us all build community like this.
