My name is Mocha. I am a rescue dog and one of my parents was a bully breed. I have been told by many people that I look like a pitbull and therefore they don't like me. When I was younger I was abused, but likely I was saved by an amazing rescue organization. However, not all Pitbulls are that lucky, most are avoided when people are looking to adopt, and some end up being killed by people's prejudice. They have even been banned in some places. Pitbulls have a bad stigma, but they are the sweetest dogs. They were used for dog fighting where the owners conditioned them to be aggressive. Because they have a strong and big build, they were chosen for dog-fighting. If they are trained right and not bullied, we can fix their bad reputation.
