As we face the world around us we are shocked to see how equality is still a struggle in society. Just like the pitbulls, a very controversial dog breed, many people are stereotyped by their appearance. Not everyone is a golden retriever, some are huskies, others are chihuahuas and some are even pit bulls. Appearance shouldn't be a factor that determines how much equality one deserves, equality should be a given right. These pitbulls are stereotyped everyday based on their appearance, they get put down at shelters and deemed dangerous when in fact most are kind souls. It's time to stop the stereotypes and time to see everyone as equal. Student: Alejandra Flores
