It connects to conflict because there is and has always been lots of conflict about people of color being treated differently for no reason besides the color of their skin. This has caused many disagreements between different people that believe different things. These disagreements have caused riots. People got extremely mad when George Floyd was killed by a police officer because of the color of his skin. He didn’t get to live his life because of a racist police officer. This is not the only example of police officers being racist, there are many more examples. This conflict has been going on for decades and we need to start treating everyone equally. It is also connected to values because everyone being equal no matter the color of their skin is one of my family's most important values. My family and I value this because the color of someone’s skin doesn’t say anything about them, it is what they do that matters. We believe that everyone should be treated equally and we do not think what is going on in the world right now is okay because many innocent people of color are being killed because of the color of their skin.
