As a person of mixed-race descent living in a "progressive" metro area, I feel judged nearly daily by some number of strangers who collectively profess to accept or at least tolerate the other. Neighborhoods are peppered with varying signs of left-wing political statements but the population's general behavior reflects the opposite of advertised beliefs. This flag is my paragon of Golden Rules that today's United States should embody, regardless of race, religion, creed, orientation, etc. These are hopes, rights, and practices that humans should be embracing, particularly after thousands of years of lessons learned following our ancestors' trials and errors. We're not perfect and no one can say with certainty what the next life holds or what the purpose of our existence now is, but we should aspire to an ideal I hope resonates well in this design.
