During Covid-19, my community is going through a stage of metamorphosis of societal norms, attitudes and beliefs. The full colored butterfly represents the ideal we are striving towards and the black and white image is used to represent old ideas we are leaving behind. Just like a butterfly is cocooned during its transformation, Covid-19 has created a cocoon for our society allowing us to come together to address new understandings of racism, income inequality, gender equality and climate change. WE WILL EVOLVE!
