I had an amazing opportunity to visit the Black Sand Beach right by Mompiche, Ecuador. While I was there, I noticed how incredibly calm, beautiful, and undisturbed it felt. It got me thinking about how sad it is that we are losing that more and more every day across our oceans. So I wanted to make this art piece about that to help raise awareness and show how important it is to keep our oceans clean.
