The theme I am capturing is gentrification here in Highland Park. The character of our home is being changed throughout everything, everywhere. Although change might be good, who is this benefiting? All I see is my Latino people being taken out with nowhere else to go. Throughout the process of gentrification people are being taken advantage of, they are left without their business, and homes. Who will they pay their bills? Rent? Support their families? This is the reason why I believe we should be talking about this topic more.
