Even as everything seems dark, we humans cling onto hope. Hope can represent anger, happiness, and anxiousness about the future. At the beginning of the 2020 school year I took a picture of Los Angeles during the wildfires. At the time, I admired the pathetic fallacy of the situation. Now I realise, clinging onto that word of hope got me through, and continues to get me through each day. Even as cases rise, the positive changes that have happened during quarantine gives me hope for the future. While sometimes that hope drifts, the word is always there.
