In Pursuit of Comfort.
I have always found myself to be somewhat socially awkward and anxious, however I never have wanted to admit that. Instead of socializing, I find myself most comfortable when I am alone as I would prefer to read books, paint, and simply create art by myself. I find art as my primary means of expression, as it is my way of coping and expressing myself. Photography, to be specific, has allowed me to address my personal opinions to others and myself regarding social issues, and personal grief. I strongly believe that our world is desperate for a way to express each and every personal opinion and view; photography is an extraordinary method in doing that. I believe that every individual has their own way of perceiving the world and every person will go through different but valuable changes. As an artist, I am confident that photography will always be able to bridge this gap, while doing so in a powerful and thought-provoking way. This image represents the meaning of being in "pursuit" of comfort.
