This artwork was inspired by the current pandemic and being quarantined. During this time everyone was isolated in a place to prevent the spread of a virus. Many were spending their time at home on electronic devices as an escape to reality. We spend hours on apps and build the habit of picking up our phone every chance we have to check social media or just to avoid situations. In the artwork the phone sends a text message saying “escape.” as a reminder to put down the phone and to start breaking the habit. As a reminder to start appreciating every moment you get to go exploring and be with friends and family.
