In this piece, I wanted to highlight the struggles of educational opportunities in the United States. Many communities across the United States are not giving enough funding to teach their youth. Everyone deserves the same opportunity, and education and knowledge is a huge part of having a successful future. The quote “Knowledge Is Liberating” means that once you have knowledge, you can see the world from a whole new perspective. The contrasted books in the background give a greater context to the text, and it gives a literal example of how knowledge is built; which is books.
