It’s important to realize the way we have civilized and increased materialism has created huge consequences which we’ve been facing for years. We have taken nature for granted since the beginning and now we are the one species that has done the most damage to our world out of all the other species combined. I believe we need to recognize how significant it is that we are on the only planet that's able to sustain life and water. We have so much amazing nature at our fingertips and yet we are destroying it everyday by focusing on and valuing materialism.
