The fires make me feel very scared and worried. These fires keep happening because of climate change, and how things are heating up making everything burn a lot easier. As of December 6, 2020, over 9,279 fires have burned 4,359,517 acres (1,764,234 ha), more than 4% of the state's roughly 100 million acres of land, making 2020 the largest wildfire season recorded in California's modern history. We need to protect our world or else we will destroy it. Fires can be really dangerous and scary especially if you are close to them and you might need to evacuate. Fires can be prevented we just need to prevent them before they happen.
