Some villages surrounding the northeastern part of China’s province, are having to deal with a huge problem: The contaminated water is making many of them sick and is causing deaths. Water pollution can be caused by city sewage, industrial waste discharge, and contamination that enters the water supply. 80% of the world's wastewater is dumped back into the environment, polluting rivers, lakes, and oceans. This widespread problem of water pollution is demolishing our health. Unsafe water kills more people each year than war and all other forms of violence combined. These wastes have a negative effect on a human's health.
