Less Concrete. More Jungle.
Growing up in a city I often heard the term "concrete jungle." I decided to address this term by combining a photo I took looking up in the corporate streets with a photo I took outside the city limits in a park. Our urban spaces, including the most financial districts and every single story of buildings, need to be reimagined and re-wilded. Our cities were built on land violently taken from Indigenous people, and Indigenous communities and their knowledge must be centered in the solutions.
