Look Twice
There are many things around us that we see often, daily, or weekly. After a while we stop noticing these things because they will always be there, will always be the same, and we never look too deep into them. If we did what would we see? One of the things that you may pass or see often but never really pay attention to are transmission lines. Transmission lines are something we don't even look twice at usually because we always see them. You may know them as the electrical lines on patches of land, connected for miles, and somewhat resemble men. Transmission lines can cause health risks and problems, and while they may seem minor at times they can be lethal. Transmission lines and cause electrical shock to animals, workers, and civilians, childhood cancer, and can cause danger to wildlife. There is a solution for the electrical shocks that very little to no companies have initiated, which is to insulate the lines and statures. We need to spread the word, information, and get them to change them, or conduct another study, and find a solution.
