Ms. Tani gave me Rupi Kaurs book of poetry and it inspired me to write this. This picture is about the shadow and the light. I put flowers in front of my iphone and also in the light to make shadows dance on my face. This represents the darkness I have experienced in my life, but the flowers are also the strength and beauty that I am carrying forward.
