This photo was taken in Ventura California not too long ago. When I took it I was trying to capture the beauty of the wave and freeze it in time. My message I put in, "Keep our oceans clean", is very important to me because of how much I love the ocean. Pollution from both trash and other things like chemicals or runoff make their way into the ocean a lot of the time and can really damage it. I made the text curving with the shape of the wave because I thought even though it was a good message it was the only thing man-made in the picture so I imagined that those letters were kind of like trash, being sucked away in a wave.
