The theme of my photograph was to spread and open up eyes on how the Los Angeles community can all come as one and make a good out of something negative. In 2019 a well known rapper by the name of Nipsey Hussle was shot and tragically passed away. Nipsey was well known for his Music and features on other well know artist. But he was also a person who always went out of the way to help out his fellow people of the Los Angeles area and never forgetting his roots. The billboard was a sign of Tribute to him from the Los Angeles community. It was a way of giving thanks for what he had done. It showed that music brings everyone together as a family even if we don’t have the same opinions or point of views of each other. Community really brings everyone together as one to help show affection to a lost brother . Nipsey has done great things for us and now it was our turn to show gratitude. Taking this picture in the 101 freeway really brought this message to me and it said that Los Angeles is the city of where we make a negative into something beautiful.
