People treat our oceans with carelessness. The ocean is an important part of our world and deserves to be treated as such. The ocean produces over half of the world’s oxygen so why don’t we protect it? People need to be more careful about where they throw their trash and companies need to stop throwing toxic waste into oceans when it’s not just our oxygen at stake, but all marine life at stake. I want to help spread awareness of the harm being done to the ocean, so next time you go to the beach, pick up after yourself and be a little more considerate of the lives in the water and remember to keep our oceans clean.
