“One nation under God”. As a country, we need to embrace this statement now more than ever. Each word can be emphasized to create a different meaning. ONE nation under God that is one should celebrate each other’s differences, not be divided over them. One NATION under God does not favor, suspect, or deny some citizens over others. One nation UNDER God acts under the power of the ruler of the universe. One nation under GOD remembers that God will outlast whoever is in power at the time. We have to start turning this motto into actions.
