I am in pursuit of equality because black people are not treated fairly, and never have been. As the days go by we should not have to watch another person be killed solely because of their skin color. I wish I could say that being a black person in America is easy, it is not. I have to worry if people will judge me for my natural hair or judge me just because I am black. It should not have to be like this, we should all be equal, and never judge each other on something a person cannot control.
