Trees have been disappearing at an alarming rate recently, mainly due to human-driven deforestation. Trees make up about 30% of the world's land area, which makes the fact that 46% of them have been cut-down all the more shocking. Some causes of deforestation include mining, drilling, farming, grazing of livestock, wildfires, and urbanization.
