Artist Statement for J. Paul Getty Project As an artist I have created this project “In pursuit of Immigration Problems in the United States”, because I feel that this is still an important issue in the USA, even though we are currently living in the situation of the worldwide pandemic. I would like to say that I do not completely agree with the government's attutude toward immigration reform. In my picture, I tried to depict the suffering of those who are affected by the deportation and how those people struggle in order to reunite their families.
