This piece was inspired by the debate between my friends and family about whether people should wear masks or not. Why do people choose to wear masks despite their right not to? They wear a mask because they care, they wear a mask to preserve the health of the patients they treat, they wear a mask to protect others. The pursuit of the security and health of your fellow citizens is a noble purpose. Ask yourself, why do you choose to either wear a mask or exercise your right? Do you care?
