Orcas are remarkably interesting and intelligent creatures. They live in all parts of the world. Much like humans, orcas live in family groups, pass along cultural traditions, and care deeply for their young. In recent years, several orca types have become endangered due to lack of food and polluted environments caused by human impact. Some orca types are even going extinct right now. Other orcas are captured and put on public display, forced to live in inadequate environments. An orca named Skana (and many like her) was kidnaped and taken from her family at the age of four. There are many problems facing orcas that need more attention. The orcas need to be saved.
