As the Israeli-Palestinian conflict continues to rage on, it is important to keep in mind that 1.5 million Palestinian refugees have lost their homes, been separated from family members, and had their livelihood taken away from them. There are many ways to help such as donating to UNICEF to support children who are malnourished or UNHCR; the body of the United Nations that supports refugees. While it is not the job of first world nations to get involved and like they have done in the past, make the situation worse, it is our duty as humans to help those who are suffering. -Sameer Ameen
