I want people to have the confidence to speak up about their experiences, and that starts with believing them, not questioning them. If we’re able to give people a platform to talk and show them that we are willing to listen, more people would feel safe, safe enough that they don’t have to constantly worry about whether they’ll be believed. Their priority should be focused on taking care of themself, not whether or not others will call them liars.
