We are the ones that have brought ourselves to a time of desperation; who allowed our carelessness to go this far. We only have one planet, and though it is devastated, it is not too late to combat the effects that we have caused. Earth is not a science project, and it should not be treated as such. It is our responsibility to set up our children and the generations to follow for success, and that starts with fixing our home. Our selfishness ends now. The clock is ticking.
