For this piece, I chose to focus on the known political diversion within our American society. I wanted to portray that both Democrats (left) and Republicans (right) have a choice to get along, work together without judgement, and unite to make the world more peaceful and accepting place. I chose to include a period at the end of 'Unite' because I wanted the word to come off as a statement. Not to just incorporate end punctuation to indicate an end of a sentence, but to make the word more powerful in the sense that nothing more is to be said but to 'UNITE' with one another to make this world a better place.
